La Bonita Supermarkets: Reviews & Ratings

I have to admit, that La Bonita is my favorite market when it comes to produce and mostly all things Latino. To me it is pure pleasure to come in and get a fruit drink while shopping or grab a quick meal at the tacqueria or buying killer chicharon with hunks of fatty pork . Etc.etc. I always go to this one on Cheyenne for the convenience as well as the customer service and cleanliness. I mean really, how many supermarkets do you visit where there's what seems like a platoon of cleaners, stockers around? Plus, the shelves, bins and showcases always are full no matter when I go. Today was an exception, as I don't normally shop there on a Saturday. The only downer was the parking lot was totally full and crazy. Today I literally filled up my cart with fruit and veggies plus three trays of meat (mostly cuts for stews and soups and bbq. Not sure of the quality I.e. prime, choice etc. But since it's not labeled, I assume it's probably select, the grade below choice. I may be wrong and it doesn't really matter, it's good quality). All for $45.00 and change. Can we do that at some of the name brand markets? Anyway, when I was done filling my cart I headed over to a real live cashier, one of around five or six. I know the trend is for self check out, but when all the veggies and fruits have to be looked up , it's a pain. So out the door to my next stop, Sprouts.... Stay tuned.

ALWAYS busy! I have never gone here with it not being packed. I love their fruit trays. I bring them to parties and always check out the meats while I'm there. Such variety in a store! It is your one stop shop for grocery needs.
